• How to Choose the Best Hospital: a Study of Hospital Information Portals in Five European Countries
This November 2010 report by the Brussels-based think tank, Health Consumer Powerhouse, looks at how successfully patients in Europe in 2010 make key healthcare choices by using the hospital information portals available in their countries. Hospital IT portals in Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands, Sweden, and the United Kingdom were analysed on various criteria, including user-friendliness and quality of care information. Part of the research for the report was carried out by PatientView, which conducted an April-May 2010 survey of patient groups in Europe (responses from over 1,000 groups received).
