European Cancer Patient Coalition (ECPC) is to hold its 2012 Patient Masterclass at Rieti, Italy, June 17th-19th 2012. The 2-day event, which is to be supported by Sabina Universitas and Provincia di Reiti, will be interactive, combining keynote speeches with debates and open discussions. Participants will have the opportunity to meet patient advocates from across Europe, as well as representatives from clinical and political bodies. ECPC is offering hotel accommodation for the two nights for 50 delegates (allocated on a first-come, first-served basis). ECPC is also offering 50 travel bursaries to patient representatives, who can apply through its website. The deadline for applications is April 12th 2012. On a separate matter, ECPC points out that another cancer-related event is being held at about the same time, June 19th-20th, in Rome: the European Partnership for Action Against Cancer 2012 Open Forum.
