Alzheimer Europe reports on the latest country to launch a national dementia plan—Finland, in May 2012. Called the 'National Memory Programme 2012-2020', the Finnish national dementia plan aims to create a 'memory-friendly' Finland. Currently, some 120,000 Finns (of which 7,000-10,000 are of working age) have a memory-related disease, and approximately 13,000 new cases are diagnosed every year in Finland.
